Just now, for shits and giggles, I decided to attempt watching an episode of Lost. This was fun for a number of reasons: although I had no idea what was going on, everything seemed pretty similar to when I last saw it.Lost is, of course, legendarily complicated, so I'm sure
something has actually happened in the four years since I last watched a
full episode. (Along with, I suspect, a fair proportion of former UK
viewers, I lost track around the time it switched from Channel 4 to
Sky.) But the sensation was the same: not really having any clue what
was going on, yet somehow finding the sensation faintly enjoyable.
So
apparently the man with the bug eyes the found up a tree was really
evil, but is now apparently alright, and they've stopped flashing
backwards in time and started showing us a "what if?"-style parallel
universe, or something. Still, with less than ten episodes left, I
imagine they'll have to start explaining stuff fairly soon. If they
manage it, I'll think about going back and catching up on what I've
missed. If they don't, I'll just be glad I spent the time watching
Desperate
Housewives instead. Oh, wait a minute...
Entertainingly,
this guy is recapping the
entire season having never seen an episode before. The pictures are
particularly amazing.
